Summer time is iced coffee time! Whether you like your coffee creamy, sweet, or strong – we'll show you how to create your perfect Iced Latte, Iced Cappuccino, or even a summery Iced Flat White at home with simple means – almost like in your favorite café.


🧊 The base: ice cubes & milk

Let's start with the foundation of every cold coffee:

  • Glass size: approx. 300–350 ml

  • Ice cubes: add 3–4 pieces to the glass

Milk choice according to taste:

  • Oat milk: preferably the Barista Edition – perfect for frothing

  • Cow's milk: preferably 3.5% fat or higher for a creamy taste and ideal protein content

💡 Pro tip: Froth your cold milk lightly beforehand! This gives your drink more volume and a creamy texture – almost like a frappe.

🥤 Three variants – your favorite style

1. Iced Latte – the classic

Ingredients:

  • 3–4 ice cubes

  • 150–200 ml cold milk (of your choice, lightly frothed) 

  • 1 double espresso (approx. 40–50 ml)

Preparation:

  1. Put ice into the glass

  2. Pour milk carefully over it

  3. Prepare espresso fresh and pour over the milk
    (Layering effect: beautiful and delicious)

Optional:

  • Sweetener? A splash of syrup!

2. Iced Cappuccino – less milk, more kick

Ingredients:

  • 3 ice cubes

  • 100–120 ml cold, frothed milk

  • 1 double espresso (40–50 ml)

Preparation:
Same as the Iced Latte, but with less milk. The foam can be a bit denser here.


3. Iced Flat White – for the strong baristas

Ingredients:

  • 2 ice cubes

  • 60–80 ml frothed milk

  • 1 strong ristretto or double espresso (30–50 ml)

Preparation:
Small, strong and creamy. Little milk, but intense flavor – perfect for those who like it concentrated & aromatic
