Water tank shut-off function with pre-warning mechanism

"Who doesn't know this, you prepare a wonderful espresso and in the middle of the process, the espresso machine simply shuts down due to insufficient water in the water tank. This is no longer the case with ECM: if the water level becomes too low during the espresso extraction, the PID starts to blink. You can now finish your espresso shot, and only when you stop the extraction does the machine turn off (PID and orange light turn off). This practical feature is now standard with this model."

Eco mode

The new ECM Synchronika features an Eco mode. This causes the machine to turn off by itself after 30 minutes. The shutdown time can also be set in 30-minute increments (shutdown after 30 minutes, after 60 minutes, after 90 minutes... up to a maximum of 600 minutes). The Eco mode can also be turned off if it is not desired.

The included cup raising grid is practical, as it reduces the distance to the brew group for espresso cups, preventing the espresso from cooling down during brewing and avoiding unnecessary splashes on the espresso cups. However, the large distance between the drip tray and the brew group also allows space for large cups, such as for milk coffee. Even with the portafilters, the familiar ECM quality has been taken into account; massive and ergonomically shaped, they sit well balanced in the hand. The professional, easy-to-use tilt valves with 70˚ Quick-Steam and Quick-Water, featuring a locking function for permanent water and steam extraction, once again impress with first-class mechanics. The steam wand is well insulated, so the milk does not stick and can be easily cleaned with a cloth."
